Good one, Food Quality is good, Service up to the mark. Rooms are so so..out side forest is fantastic , Location is fine. totally its good for stay for 1 or 2 days not more than that . Natural environment is fantastic for Photo shoot .
It was a wonderful experience staying at Banalata for one night. We six friends stayed there on July 11-12, 2015. The hotel is situated in a sprawling forest and the entire food, milk, vegetables, fish are procured from the own farms and pond.
I have visited to this Hotel with my family on 31st may 2015. The place is no doubt a nice one with its natural environment. There was a big pond where i also enjoyed swimming with my kid. Foods are also good.
A very good place for a weekend.Having heard a lot about Banalata Hotel decided to visit the same with my family and the family of my Sister who was joining us from Asansol. We met at Bishnupur and spent the night there at Bishnupur Tourist Lodge.
A quick weekend destination from kolkata, Firstly set your expectations right when you plan. The property is located at a the beginning of Joypur forest in Bankura District on SH2. Ideal time is winter or may be rainy season.
We have taken the Burdwan-Arambagh stretch which took around 3 hrs to reach the resort. After reaching the place we were overwhelmed with the natural surroundings which consisted cultivation as well as poultry.
The property is nicely placed beside Joypur Reserve Forest. This place is actually a dhaba but they have extended it further by acquiring a huge area, where cultivation is done, a huge pond and two buildings for accommodation.
